Well, I believe that the last time I did a blog was early during the "Reunion Tour" this past summer. I told everyone how much fun it was to be with the guys and that the shows were, amost to a tee, really special in their own way. The dates were difficult to get to sometimes with early flights (I do hope that changes for this year! There's a New Year's wish for you. Oh, please - no more waiting in line at an Air Canada terminal at 5:00am after getting to bed at 2:30am!) and there were lots of long drives in various mini vans as we got lost on the way to hotels or gigs. Who can forget the vision of 5 grown men in a Tim Horton's parking lot on cell phones trying to find out where the hell we were going while talking/yelling politics as John tried to sleep in the back seat. I'm sure that was his favourite memory.

Anyway, the year ended in marvelous fashion. We played outdoors in Niagara Falls for the city's big New Year's celebration. We opened for Loverboy (who were really awesome. If only they had a decent drummer, they could go places.) and Dennis DeYoung, formally from Styx. It was broadcast all over Canada on Global televison and, of course, is on Youtube. I really loved it. A great setting with my best friends who are also some of the greatest musicans I know - and I was just so lucky to be a part of it.
